Austin Board of REALTORS® Foundation awards scholarships to Central Texas students
12 students receive a combined $29,000 in scholarships
AUSTIN, Texas—Today, the Austin Board of REALTORS® Foundation awarded 12 local high school seniors and college students a combined $29,000 in higher education scholarships based on academic merit, leadership and service, and financial need. This includes $2,500 scholarships to 10 high school seniors and two $2,000 alumni scholarships to previous ABoR Foundation scholarship recipients.
“One of the most meaningful parts of being involved with the ABoR Foundation is seeing how Central Texas REALTORS® come together to invest in the future of our community,” Addison Price, 2026 ABoR Foundation Board Chair, said. “These students have shown remarkable dedication both in the classroom and in their communities, and we’re proud to support them as they take the next step in their education.”
The ABoR Foundation has awarded more than 450 scholarships since 1978, including more than $300,000 in the last five years. Recipients must reside within ABoR’s 18-county Central Texas service area and have committed to a Texas university, college or trade school to receive the scholarship. The scholarship program is made possible by the support of more than 18,000 Central Texas REALTORS® and professional agents.
“As a parent, I understand how important it is for our youth to have opportunities and support as they plan for their futures,” John Crowe, 2026 Unlock MLS and ABoR president, said. “For many of our members, giving back to the communities we serve is just as necessary as the work we do every day as professional agents, and we’re grateful for their generosity that continues to make opportunities like these scholarships possible.” Winners of the 2026 ABoR Foundation scholarships include:
Holden Castillo - Moe & Gene Johnson High School
Bria Faulkner - Jarrell High School
