Socar loves to travel!!! Once she discovered NAR's CIPS designation, she quickly earned it! By earning her CIPS designation, she has managed to marry her love for international travel with her love for real estate. As she travels around the world, she connects with other CIPS designees and real estate professionals, thus creating a massive global referral network.
Socar was nominated as Austin's Educator of the Year in 2019 and was most recently nominated as Texas REALTORS Instructor of the Year. She comes from a long line of educators and entrepreneurs: Her mother taught elementary school in Houston for over 33 years and her father, an electrical engineer, owned a commercial construction company. Chatmon-Thomas brings energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude to the classroom. She enjoys real estate and is as passionate about excellence as she is about education.
