Many exciting things are happening at ABoR and Unlock MLS! Our recent Kickoff 2025 event set the stage for a groundbreaking year with a series of major announcements that will unlock opportunities for both ABoR members and Unlock MLS subscribers. Here is a recap of what was announced and where to go for more information.
1. Starting June 1, Unlock MLS will no longer require REALTOR® membership to access Unlock MLS services.
This new flexibility empowers you to shape your business as you see fit. Whether you choose to stay connected to a professional trade organization like a REALTOR® association is now entirely up to you.
How Will This Work?
For those who value the benefits of REALTOR® membership, nothing will change—you can continue to enjoy your MLS subscription and Association resources seamlessly.
If you’d prefer to access Unlock MLS as a Non-Member Licensee (without a REALTOR® membership), your brokerage will need to set up a separate MLS office with a broker of record who is not a REALTOR®. NAR Bylaws require all agents in a REALTOR®-broker’s office to be REALTOR® members.

2. Subscribers now have Supra Key Reciprocity with Highland Lakes MLS!
Unlock MLS subscribers now have seamless access to Highland Lakes MLS listings through the Supra eKEY app. This includes 2,500+ properties covering the nine-county Texas Hill Country region. For more information, visit UnlockMLS.com/Reciprocity.
3. Real Estate News is now FREE for ABoR members!
ABoR members now get a FREE subscription to Real Estate News, a top source for real estate industry news and trends (a $225 annual value)! Members can claim their complimentary account at UnlockMLS.com/RealEstateNews.
4. Industry Awards applications are now open!
Every year, ABoR sets one night aside to celebrate the best and brightest in real estate at our annual Industry Awards Gala. Applications and nominations for all award categories are open now through Mar. 7. To apply or nominate a colleague, visit UnlockMLS.com/Awards.
5. New ways to help the ABoR Foundation!
The ABoR Foundation’s new Giving Program provides exclusive recognition and rewards for donating to the Foundation—and the first donation tier starts at only $100 per year. 7. Exciting Matrix changes are coming Feb. 25!

Get ready for a minimized workflow, higher client satisfaction, and more time for you to spend with your clients.
