John Jung

John leads visual storytelling and media production initiatives for Unlock MLS and ABoR, guiding the team behind ABoR's videography, livestreams, photography, podcasts, A/V, and motion graphics. He has played a central role in bringing ABoR's omnichannel events to life, blending in-person, livestreamed, and recorded experiences to meet members where they're at.

With more than 15 years of production experience, John is a skilled and empathetic director who helps staff, volunteers, and members feel comfortable, prepared, and professional on camera, and he trains them on video best practices. His positivity, patience, and collaborative spirit make him a valued part of ABoR's culture.

John joined ABoR as Video Producer in 2019 and has grown into his current role as Video Production Supervisor. He holds a B.S. in Radio, Television & Film from The University of Texas at Austin. Before ABoR, he led crews on freelance productions ranging from weddings to corporate events while teaching ESL at Samsung Austin Semiconductor. Off the clock, John composes and performs music and trains in boxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and Muay Thai.
