Become a Voter Registrar — and Help Your Clients, Too!
Join us at ABoR HQ for an in-person VDR training, led by Travis County Elections staff! A Volunteer Deputy Registrar (VDR) is someone officially trained and appointed by the county to help Texans register to vote — that means handing out and reviewing registration applications, making sure they're filled out correctly, and getting them submitted to the county on time. In under an hour, you'll be fully certified.
It's a great way to give back to your community — and a genuine value-add for your business. Think about it: your clients are already updating their address after a move, so offering to help them register (or re-register) to vote is a two-minute gesture that keeps you top of mind, all while staying completely nonpartisan. No experience needed, and this certification is valid through December 2026.
