Class covers in-depth VA loan benefits, the pre-approval process, making offers, inspections, and using VA with VHAP, so the REALTORS® can better assist military homebuyers or sellers who received VA offers on their homes.

Chad proudly served four years of active duty in the Marine Corps infantry before graduating with honors from McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin. He has been a VA Loan Specialist in Austin since 2004 and opened the first Texas branch of Veterans United Home Loans in Austin in January 2014. In August of 2017 he opened a second branch in Killeen, Texas, near Fort Hood. At ABoR Chad teaches our VA home loan classes to help Realtors help our active duty military and veteran community take advantage of the VA home loan program. His classes cover VA home loan benefits, getting pre-approved, making offers, inspection requirements, and much more, including how to use the VA loan with the Texas Veterans Housing Assistance Program. On a personal note, Chad’s wife is the librarian at a local middle school and they have three sons.
