Selling Farm & Ranch in TX - Contract & Listing Agreement

The primary objective of this course is to increase the agent’s competency when writing or presenting the TREC Farm and Ranch Contract. Also the Farm and Ranch Listing Agreement. The first section of the course will include an introduction to Farm and Ranch real estate in Texas. We will highlight how Farm & Ranch differs from Residential real estate and establish guidelines for when agents should use forms specific to Farm & Ranch. We will also review consumer appeal, marketability, what Buyers want to know & terms specific to Farm and Ranch Real Estate. Section Two will include a complete review of the farm & ranch contract form: when to use it, a discussion of the variable terms & addenda, and how these terms may impact the agent’s client. The third section of the course will review the Texas Realtors Farm and Ranch Exclusive Listing Agreement and how it differs from a Residential Listing Agreement. We will end the class with a discussion of the questions that a listing agent should ask before listing and marketing a farm and ranch property followed by Q & A.
