This course covers the history and structure of TREC, explains important sections of TRELA and the violations and potential disciplinary actions. The differences between each of the six contracts are briefly addressed then the important paragraphs of the 1-4 Family Residential contract are covered in detail. The most commonly used addenda are explained as well as the Seller’s Disclosure Notice and related liabilities for the seller and license holder.

Socar was nominated as Austin's Educator of the Year in 2019 and was most recently nominated as Texas REALTORS Instructor of the Year. She comes from a long line of educators and entrepreneurs: Her mother taught elementary school in Houston for over 33 years and her father, an electrical engineer, owned a commercial construction company.
