Christine Wren
Austin Board of REALTORS®
Community Programs Lead
Christine Wren is a connector at heart. For more than three decades, she has brought people, ideas, and opportunities together across markets and cultures, guided by a simple belief: progress happens one relationship at a time. At the Austin Board of REALTORS®, Christine leads ABoR Global and the ABoR Foundation. Under her leadership, ABoR Global has become one of the nation's top international real estate programs, earning the National Association of REALTORS® Global Achievement Program Diamond Award, its highest honor. Through the Global Business Alliance, international education, and cross-border referral networks, she helps members turn global relationships into business. She has also built partnerships with counterpart organizations in Ireland (IPAV), Mexico (AMPI), and Canada (CREA), opening doors for Austin members worldwide. Through the Foundation, Christine brings the same relationship-first approach closer to home, advancing housing, education, and disaster relief across 18 Central Texas counties. Whether she is linking a member with a referral partner overseas or a family with a local resource, her goal is the same: helping people move forward. Christine knows the industry from the inside. She became a REALTOR® in Illinois in 1991, earned her Texas license in 2015, and joined ABoR staff in 2018. She holds the Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) designation and the C2EX endorsement, is a member of the NAR Faculty, and is a certified Texas instructor. She has also served on NAR committees and work groups focused on Global, CIPS, and Diversity. She holds a B.A. in Performing Arts from Marycrest College. Christine is a board member at large for Austin Sister Cities International, where she promotes citizen diplomacy. Outside of work, she is an avid gardener and cyclist who advocates for safe, accessible mobility. She and her husband share a love of travel, food, and music, especially opera, and have volunteered at Dell Children's Medical Center of Central Texas, bringing pet therapy to young patients with their Bernese Mountain Dogs. |
