Anne Wheeler

Anne Wheeler’s career in Austin real estate spans four decades. Her success has built clients’ trust and confidence over multiple transactions through the years, and on the referrals from clients’ consistent recommendations as “the” professional to trust when considering buying or selling real estate in and around Austin.

Wheeler’s success is built on achieving the best results for her clients by using her exceptional negotiation and communication skills honed through thousands of sales. She began her career in Austin by obtaining her Real Estate Salesman’s license after graduating from The University of Texas in 1977, and in 1982 she obtained her Real Estate Broker’s license. She is a proud native Texan and an Austinite since 1973. In 1985, she co-founded Wheeler McCarroll Realtors, which was one of Austin’s most respected brokerages for the next ten years while she served as the designated broker. Only months after the formation of Gottesman Windham Real Estate in 2020, now Gottesman Residential Real Estate, she became an Associate Broker with Gottesman.

Wheeler has established a solid reputation among her clients, colleagues and other professionals in the real estate industry. She has been elected by her peers three times to represent them as a Director of the Austin Board of Realtors and Unlock MLS. With over 18,000 members of the Austin Board of REALTORS®, this volunteer Director’s position comes with a responsibility to her fellow agents and brokers to guide the organization today and into the future. During the last few years, the Austin Board of REALTORS® has become nationally recognized as an industry leader.
